Skyvia Backup NetSuite core 2023.2 SuiteTalk endpoint version 2016_2 is no longer supported

Does anyone know of any options or recommendations to resolve the "Skyvia Backup NetSuite core 2023.2 SuiteTalk endpoint version 2016_2 is no longer supported" issue described below?

We are experiencing an issue with NetSuite backup using the NetSuite (SOAP) API. We recently upgraded our NetSuite Dev and Stage environments from 2023.1 to 2023.2. We opened a ticket with Oracle NetSuite and they responded that the latest upgrade only supports API endpoints back to 2017. The endpoint used by Skyvia is SuiteTalk endpoint version 2016_2.

 

We opened a ticket with Skyvia support (#37068) and the support agent responded with the following:

NetSuite (SOAP) connector is considered deprecated, and it is left for compatibility reasons.

The agent recommend using the NetSuite v2 (REST) connector for new integrations and other use cases.

However, the documentation specifically states the REST connector does not support backup. It is not an option to create that type of connection for backup.

The support agent also mentioned the NetSuite (SOAP) connector is deprecated. Does that mean it is begin deprecated by Oracle or Skyvia? We asked Oracle support, and they said SOAP API connections are fully supported. We have a few other integrations that are using NetSuite SOAP API connections and they are working after the upgrade.

Are there any plans to update the NetSuite (SOAP) connector to support newer versions of the SuiteTalk endpoint? If not, what should customers do to get NetSuite backup working as using the REST API connector is not an option?

Any options or recommendations you can share are appreciated.
