Overview
Each Skyvia Backup plan includes a fixed storage quota. Once this limit is reached, no further backups - whether scheduled or manual - will be executed until storage is freed or the plan is upgraded.

Storage Management Options
Option 1: Enable Autoclean (Standard plan and above)
Autoclean automatically removes old snapshots based on rules you define, ensuring storage never fills up unexpectedly.
To enable:
- Go to Account → Subscription.
- Find your Backup plan and click Storage details.
- Toggle Autoclean to enabled.
- Configure which snapshots to retain (e.g., keep only the latest).
You can review current storage usage at any time in the Storage Manager.
Option 2: Delete snapshots manually
You can delete snapshots directly from the backup interface without enabling Autoclean.
- Multiple snapshots: Open the backup → Overview tab → click Clean up → choose to delete all except the latest, or snapshots before/between specific dates.
- Single snapshot: Open the backup → Snapshots tab → click Clean up → select the snapshot(s) to delete.
Option 3: Delete the entire backup
If the backup is no longer needed, move it to Trash or click Delete. Backups remain in Trash for 2 weeks and can be restored during that period. After 2 weeks they are permanently deleted.
Option 4: Upgrade your plan
If storage management alone is not sufficient, upgrade to a higher storage tier to avoid recurring interruptions. See available Backup plans to compare storage quotas.
Enable Email Notifications
Skyvia can notify you when a backup fails or when your storage is nearing its limit. These notifications are disabled by default. To avoid unexpected interruptions, enable them in Account → Notifications.
For more details, see the Email Notifications documentation.
