Run Skyvia Agent Across Multiple Workspaces

Running Skyvia Agent in Multiple Workspaces

Overview

If you need to use the Skyvia Agent across multiple workspaces, you do not need to reinstall it. A single installed Agent instance can be connected to any workspace by reusing its agent key. Follow the steps below to configure this.

Prerequisites

  • Skyvia Agent is already installed on your machine.
  • You have access to at least two Skyvia workspaces.

Steps

Step 1: Create a new agent in the additional workspace

Open the target workspace in Skyvia and create a new Agent entry.

Step 2: Copy the agent key from the new workspace

After creating the agent, copy the key that is generated for it.

Step 3: Connect the installed Agent using the new key

Open the Skyvia Agent application on your machine, paste the copied key into the Key field, and click Connect.

The Agent will connect to the new workspace and become available for use in connections within that workspace.
