401 Unauthorized - Salesforce to MS Dynamics

We have a package that imports data from Salesforce into MS Dynamics.

It runs for 2 or 3 hours,and data can be seen importing into Dynamics, but then throws "The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized."

We ran this package before but with a smaller data set and always completed succesfully. Can you please provide more info because the error is all we got. Maybe you can help us identify if it is originating from Salesforce or Dynamics?

Hi,

We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

 

The issue is caused by complexity of the package and big amount of data.

Please try to decrease the bath size in your Dynamics connection

and reduce amount of data if possible. Let us know the result.

Good morning,

I did change the batch size setting as suggested.

However still got the same issue. I noticed from your screen shot that there is also batch size (custom size) is set to 2000.

Should we change that? and what is that setting for? thanks

Hi,

We are really sorry that the issue is still there.

 

The Batch Size option provides you with better control over the number of rows in batches that are sent to the target data source. It specifies the number of rows to cache in a buffer before sending them to the target. Thus, it allows to always send batches of a fixed size to the target.

This can be useful both to increase the batch size for loaded data in order to load more records per an API call to improve API call use efficiency, and to decrease batch size if the target has some additional custom limitation or if smaller batches provide better performance. Yes, please try to change that Batch size to 10 or Auto. Also, please try to reduce the amount of data in your package.
