Access field values from previous task

I have a multi-task integration between Shopify and Salesforce. I first check for a contact in the system or create a new one. In the next step I want to create an Order in Salesforce, but need to access the Account ID for the contact created in the first step. In another step I will need to access the Order ID when mapping Order Line Items.

Can I access values from previous steps in future steps? (Is the information cached) 

What would be the best practice to solve this?

Hello Jens,

Thank you for submitting a ticket with us.

In order to use the data imported during previous tasks, for instance AccountID, you can use a target lookup mapping. 

To create such a mapping, click the Column button for AccountId and select Target Lookup.

- For Lookup Object - select Contact

- For Result Column - select AccountId

- For Lookup Key Column - select any column that uniquely identifies the record in Order except AccountId. Just for an example purpose let's use Email

- For Column - select Email that corresponds to Shopify Email

Also, Skyvia has an option called "Preserve task order".

It is used when there are data relations and the tasks should be completed in the same order as they are set up. Make sure to check the box. Here is the screenshot
