Hi

I'm looking at exporting data from a Postgresql database hosted on Heroku, unfortunately, the DB is set to require SSL but Heroku don't make the certificate details available. When I connect to the database I have to include 'ssl=true&sslfactory=org.postgresql.ssl.NonValidatingFactory' in the connection string.

Is there a way of connecting using Skyvia without the certificates, or turning off SSL on the database?

Thanks

Ben

Did you try enabling SSL mode in your PostgreSQL connection (Advanced parameters) in Skyvia without specifying certificates?

Please try it and notify us about the results.

Hi Mariia

Yes, I tried that but when I tested the connection I got a message saying "Authentication failed in ssl mode."

Thanks

Ben

The error "Authentication failed in ssl mode" means, that connection to the server is established via SSL, but either login or password is specified incorrectly. Make sure login and password are specified correctly in your PostgreSQL connection.

Thanks. Looks like I was given the wrong credentials, I've been able to connect now.
