The backup process for Salesforce CRM is easy and can be performed by following these actions:
You need to follow this page: Backups and click 'Create Now'.
In 'Select Connection' section, choose your Salesforce connection. Then choose appropriate objects from the list in 'Select Objects' section and apply filters if any.
It is also possible to configure the backup schedule and easy to do with this guide: Scheduling packages
Then click 'Save' and your backup is ready. It will run automatically on the specified schedule, and you can run it manually by clicking 'Force backup now'.

As for the pricing, please refer to: Pricing
For backup the amount of the backed up data in the storage is counted. At the moment, Skyvia cannot perform incremental updates (backups are not overwritten) and cannot delete old backups automatically. Thus, if you reach your backup pricing plan limitation, new backups won't be created.
You can delete unnecessary backups for some time period with the Clear History functionality.
