I am testing report writers (currently Tableau) and cannot connect it to my OData url.  I opened a case with Tableau, and they cam back with: "In order to connect, we'll need a URL that fits the OData URL conventions for connection (for example: https://data.ny.gov/OData.svc/9a8c-vfzj). I would suggest following up with Skyvia and see if they can provide a URL in this type of format that we can connect to.".  Does this make any sense to you and if so, is it something I can do?

Additionally, if there are any report writers that you know to work well with your service, I would appreciate you letting me know..

Most likely, the issue is related to Tableau specifics. Tableau does not support OData in the JSON format. We have changed Skyvia behavior so that Skyvia uses the ATOM format by default for ODATA v1-3. So you can use only v1-3 Skyvia endpoints in Tableau. You can change the OData version for an endpoint in the endpoint editor: http://prntscr.com/gvxs12

You also need to specify EntitySet at the end of the link for using Skyvia OData endpoint in Tableau. For example:

https://connect.skyvia.com/4n73j59m/entitysetname

Please tell us if this information helps.

Thank you Mariia.  Can you please let me know what I need to do to include an 'Entityset'?  Not sure what that refers to.

You should include it in the URL, for example:

https://connect.skyvia.com/4n73j59m/Accounts

https://connect.skyvia.com/4n73j59m/Contacts , etc.

You can find entityset name in Edit Entity dialog box:
