I spoke to Salesforce support and they told me that you need to raise a ticket with Salesforce Development support on our behalf. Our open ticket with SF is "43223741".

The error we see on order line package is "unable to obtain exclusive access to this record or x records..."

First instance of this error was 12th August.

 

Here is what they sent me:

 

"Hi Aaron,

Thank you for answering my phone call. As discussed within the call, our team confirmed that we will have limitations on investigating the issue. Due to this reason, that issue is only reproducible using a 3rd party application or integration. It was confirmed tested by manually importing records using the standard functionality and therefore no issue has occurred.

We suggested coordinating with the 3rd party application wherein they will be the ones who will raise the issue to salesforce as integrations, API, and importing using a 3rd party application is out of our scope.

For a better explanation of the situation, when a record is being created or updated, a lock on the records is placed to make sure there will be no inconsistencies in the data. However, it is proven not an issue when you are using the standard import function of salesforce as you have confirmed you can manually import data without any issue. This further suggests that there is something happening with the integration on importing records to salesforce in which we don't have resources on how this 3rd application was made and how it communicates to salesforce.

 

You have requested to have the case remain open until the 3rd party has replied to you on what actions they will do with the situation."
