The order of columns in a result file depends on the order, in which you have selected these columns in Task Editor.

If you select all the fields, the order will be same as you can see it in the Task Editor. If you select some of the fields, the order depends on the order in which you are selecting the fields. For example:

Does this mean, that if you want to change order in existing export, you remove all checkmarks, press save and then start over by selecting again in the order you want them before pressing save a second time?

And if you add a field to existing selection, will it then always come at the end?

Hello Nis,

There is no need to press the Save button after unchecking all the fields. The Save button must be clicked after selecting the necessary fields in the Task Editor.

And if you add a field to existing selection, will it then always come at the end?

Yes, correct.

Best regards,

Mariia

This seems to be working for fields from the same object (table), but not when selecting fields from multiple objects.  Below is an example of what I'm seeing.  How do I get the columns in the order I'm selecting in when working with multiple objects?

Order selected...

Object_A.Field_1

Object_A.Field_2

Object_A.Field_3

Object_B.Field_4

Object_B.Field_5

Object_B.Field_6

Order of columns...

Object_B.Field_4

Object_B.Field_5

Object_B.Field_6

Object_A.Field_1

Object_A.Field_2

Object_A.Field_3

Hello Kristen,

Columns of the main table will always come first (in the order you selected them). The columns of the related objects will come after the main columns in the order you selected them.

Thank you Mariia.  Unfortunately that's not happening for me.  It is showing the columns of the main table first, but then the columns of the remaining tables are not showing in the order I selected them in.

Selection Order...

Business Group

Sales Order

Sales Order Line (main table)
