I went to connect a new oData endpoint to a Google Data Studio project using the Skyvia Connect communicty connector. When I provide the endpoint URL and (correct) credentials I now get the following error:

Error fetching data from API. Exception details: SyntaxError: Unexpected token: <

I had a look at the endpoint's $metadata schema and it's returning XML. Could it be that Skyvia Connect is expecting JSON? It was all working for me prevously. Many thanks

Thank you for contacting Sykvia Support team. 

To analyze your data with Google Data Studio, you need to create an SQL endpoint first and obtain its URL.

Then you can use this URL in the connector.

We would recommend you to view the instructions on how to connect to  Google Data Studio with Skyvia.
