I am trying to import Invoices from Salesforce to Quickbooks. I have all the mappings except the "Line" which is a required field in the Quickbooks Invoice.

Receiving following error -

"An exception has occurred during insert operation, the message returned from the provider is: The value of the column Line has incorrect JSON format."

How do I enter a json here, the only option for mapping is Column, Expression, Constant & Lookup.

Hello James!

The issue is related to the QuickBooks peculiarities. Some QuickBooks objects have fields in JSON format. For example, the Line field in the QuickBooks Invoice entity is mandatory and must be mapped. The Line field stores the specification of the Invoice, and it is stored in the JSON format. During the execution of an import or synchronization package that imports data into QuickBooks invoices, the data from this field will be automatically added to Invoice and to the InvoiceLineItem detail table. Note that data in the Line column should be in the correct JSON format. For more information please refer to:

https://skyvia.com/resources/docs/quickbooks_connections.htm (QuickBooks-Specific Features and Limitations)

Salesforce Invoices object does not have a field, corresponding to the QuickBooks Invoice.Line. Therefore, the import from Salesforce Invoices to QuickBooks Invoice cannot be performed.

The same is true for other objects with the Line field, such as Bill, JournalEntry, etc.

Best regards,

Mariia
