Hi,

We are trying to fetch customer details(email, name, customer segments) from mysql database to Mailchimp via Skyvia automated packages.

However except for few standard data columns (like name, email) we cannot seem to fetch other custom column data. Can you please suggest the way to fetch this,

Also while selecting the Target Definition what are we supposed to select to get the tabular data. We have used 'list' but that doesn't seem that effective.

Thank you.

Hi,

1. It is necessary to check Join All Merge Fields option in the Merge Fields Behavior parameter in your MailChimp connection settings.

Please follow this page.

2. On the Target Definition page you select the object to import the data into and the operation type to use. Actual selection depends on your requirements and is case-specific.

Let us know your scenario, so that we are able to advise anything.

Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us back.

Hello,

Thank you for the screenshots.

Tags field is an array and stores data in JSON format.

We carried out some testing and found an unexpected behaviour of this field.

The issue is escalated to our development team.

Once we have any details, we will drop you a line.

Hello,

A new version of Skyvia that includes a fix with tags field has been released.

In order to create a new subscriber with tags, a CSV cell mapped to Tags should have the following JSON format:

[{"name":"tagname","status":"active"}]

A "name" can be anything you wish, while "status" has only two possible values: inactive and active.

Also, subscribers can be created for certain ListId only. You should know the ListId, to which you will bind the data, and set it as Constant in the Task editor when specifying the mapping or use corresponding Column mapping.

To get ListId you can use:

- Mailchimp guide

- Skyvia Query Tool (SELECT "Id", "Name" FROM "Lists")

We are looking forward to hearing from you, should you require any further assistance.
