We have configured an integration package to import contact details from Salesforce to mailchimp.

But it seems to be throwing forbidden error when running as scheduled job.

When I manually tried to run it it ran fine.

The message displayed is "An exception has occurred during insert operation, the message returned from the provider is: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden."

We are not changing the connection details for job so what are the possible reasons this can happen?

Package id - 50676

Job ids - 15061182, 15041386 - fscheduled jobs forbidden error

15062583 - manually ran - successful

Such an error may occur at the MailChimp side when numerous requests are sent to their server. In this case they are blocking access to MailChimp from particular IP.

The requests from all Skyvia users at a certain point in time are taken into account (not from one particular user). So, you can try changing schedule settings, for example, move the start of the package for 1 or 2 hours.

But in that case this looks like a limitation at Skyvia end. Wouldnt it be better that you would distribute all requests from Skyvia to Mailchimp across multiple IP addresses so that there is no blocks from mailchimp.

Sometimes there is absolute business need to have these import jobs at a particular time.

ANy updates on this?

Currently, Skyvia uses only one static IP address.

We have already contacted Akamai and MailChimp with this issue. We will post here the results as soon as any are available.
