We have an import job that imports from 2 csv to 2 tabs of a Google Sheet. The process takes extraordinarily long. It took over 3 hours to import under 1500 records. (Import this manually in Google Sheet took about 1 minute. We currently have files to process every 2 hours. Any way we can speed this up.

Hello Margaret,

We have received an update from our development team.

The time of a package execution was spent on the insertion of the record to Google Sheets.

Their API is not fast enough so it takes time to process and insert the records.

Feel free to contact us in case of any questions or issues.

Best regards,

Nataliia,

It looks like the import is doing it one record at a time as opposed to a batch, which causes all the formula in the GSheet to refresh with every record being added. Is there a way to specify a batch import?

Hello Margaret,

You are right, Skyvia does not support batch operation against Google Sheets.
We have added such functionality to our roadmap, however we are not able to provide the estimated time for its implementation for now.
We will inform you when this is released.

Best regards,

Olena
