Hi there

Ok first day using skyvia and glad to say I managed to connect shopify to salesforce and complete a data pull creating new customers so thats amazing. Issue is how do I ensure that the pull is for records not pulled before? I ran the connection twice (after I made an improvement) and it reran the old records I had already imported. How do I ensure it only runs new records and not previously ran ones?

Hi Lorraine,

Please check this https://docs.skyvia.com/data-integration/import/importing-only-recently-added-or-changed-data-from-cloud-sources.html

Also, if you want to perform Inserts and Updates, we recommend you to look at UPSERT operation. The UPSERT operation updates a record if it exists or inserts a new record. This allows you to avoid inserting duplicate data. You need to map the target ID/Primary key columns for performing UPSERT.

Feel free to contact us in case of any further questions.

Best regards,

Mariia
