Hi, I am setting up a syncronization between zoho and mysql, and it has been challenging finding an expression to split first name from last name that the system can accept, it would also be amazing if you had better documentation in this particular area. Thanks

Hello Pedro,

Skyvia uses SSIS for Expression mapping. For your scenario, you should look at the Substring function.

You can see some examples here.

If you encounter any issues with this, please let us know.

Best regards,

Mariia

Hi, thanks for getting back to me, I am still getting errors. The expression check says it is valid, now how can I possibly make sure my expressions work before having to spend days and more days for the syncronizations to run just to find out there are more errors, I have been trying to set this up for a week already and still having problems, when I run queries from your site I have to use the syntax for mysql, but for expressions I have to use MYSQL 2009, where can I use either one of those languages to be sure the expressions work before running jobs? Thanks

This is getting frustrating already, I became a paid member hoping these would run quicker, and unfortunately that is not the case, they still take sometimes an hour to run, but idealy you want to be able to sort out all these expressions issues before running it, but so far I don't see how.

Hello Pedro,

Please specify the following information, so that we are able to provide you with the possible options for expressions:

- the name of the source MySQL column and example of data in this column;

- the names of the target Zoho CRM fields;

- example of the Expression mapping you have tried to use, etc.;

JIC: pricing plan does not affect execution speed, the plans differ in the number of records processed per month and schedule settings. As we can see most of the runs of this package took several minutes to perform. Sometimes when a huge number of packages are configured to run at the same time, Skyvia puts them into a queue which could last 5-10 minutes. We mean the whole customer base of Skyvia - a lot of customers configure their packages to run at equal parts of a clock face, for example, 12:00, 12:15, 120, etc.

This leads to the accumulation of such packages in the queue. Skyvia tries to clear it fast, however, some packages can be run with delay.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Mariia
