We are trying to import data from a Google Sheet into Salesforce using Skyvia.  We managed to make it work but some fields are giving us an "Invalid Type" error when we try to map it from Google Sheet to Salesforce.

We get this error with Number fields and Date fields, they will not map.  We tried changing the format of the field in Google Sheets, but still it says "Invalid Type".  Do you have any suggestions how to fix this?

Thanks,

Max

Hello Maximilian,

Sorry for the delayed response.

Such an issue may be resolved by using Expression mapping:

https://docs.skyvia.com/data-integration/common-package-features/mapping/expression-mapping.html

https://docs.skyvia.com/expression-syntax/data-types-and-type-conversion.html

Some examples:

int8(string_column)

datetime(string_column)

Please try implementing this and let us the results.

Best regards,

Mariia
