Pipedrive custom fields

We have several custom fields in our Pipedrive instance.  One of which is "Distribution List" which is under People.  However, I'm not able to find that field with data in any of my backups.  I see the PeopleFields table has Distribution List in it, but I need to know where it's backing up the specific records with populated Distribution List values.

Any ideas?

Hi Michael!

Skyvia does not support custom fields in the default Pipedrive connector.

However, it is possible to implement via custom REST connection. We can investigate your scenario and prepare all the necessary data to create it for you (we will describe the type of authentication, prepare metadata with custom fields). After that, based on this data, you will need to create a REST connection in Skyvia and use it in your package. If such an option suits you, please send us the following information:

- specify tables and API names of custom fields;

- fields data types (with maximum length if it's a string);

- an example of your data.

We will review details and check the possibility to implement this.

Thanks for the reply.

Additional question: if we add more custom fields in the future, will this require additional work by Skyvia to modify the custom REST connection to include those fields?

My concern is that much of our critical business information is inherently included in custom fields, which is probably the norm for most customers.  I don't see it being tenable to monitor every custom field addition/deletion/change and then update custom code to back it up.

Are there any other options for backing up the custom data?

Yes, it will.

At the moment, this is the only solution for accessing Pipedrive custom fields.

Best regards,

Mariia
