Run agent as a service.

I am trying to add the skyvia agent as a service. I run the commance skyvia.agent.client.exe as per the documenatation but I recieve unknown command-line parameter "-i"

The agent is on version 1.2.54.0

What am I doing wrong? do i need to upgrade the agent?

Hello,

 

To register an agent as a service, you have to run the command line as an administrator.

Please note that the command has to be performed in the folder where the agent is installed.

As you can see, thats the way I did it, but I do not get the correct result.

Hello,

 

Such an issue may occur in the following cases:

- agent s already installed as a service;

- you are running this command in the wrong directory (the command has to be performed in the folder where the agent is installed.).

Please specify your issue in more detail, e.g. whether you cannot install an agent as a service or the service starts and stops immediately?

I am running thecommand from the installed folder from an adminstrative command prompt.  The service gets installed.  I start the service and it immediatly stops.  No error messages or entries in the event logs.  Running on Windows server 2019

Hello,

 

Please download a new version of Agent 1.2.67 and install it.

Also, please open Skyvia.Agent.Client.exe.config file and the AgentKey line.

 

After this, please try running it as a service and let us know the results.
