We are trying to import from a file on our SFTP site. The import task is returning error "Failed to open local file".

We are able to open the file when we connect to the SFTP using the same credential via Filezilla. We are also able to use another system to import the data (not through Skyvia) using the same credential. So it's unlikely a credential issue. What other factors can lead to this error?

Hello Margaret,

Thank you for contacting Skyvia Support team.

Please make sure both Skyvia IPs are whitelisted: 40.118.246.204 and 13.86.253.112. If no, please whitelist them from your side.

Let us know what the outcome is.

Best regards,

Hi Nataliia,

The IPs have been whitelisted. Test connection worked. In setting up the tasks, we were also able to see the list of files in the folder to select our test file. So the whitelisting seems to be working. We got the error when running the Import package.

Any other configuration that may cause this issue?
