Greetings:

Is there any way using SkyVia replication to specific the name of the database schema in which the replicated table should be placed?

We have a need to place replicated tables in their own schema within a SQL Server or Azure SQL Database.

Please advise.

Greetings:

I know I can control this by the default schema associated with the user being used to connect to Azure SQL Database for the connection being used by a package, but I would rather see the capability to make an explicit choice in SkyVia replication.

The fact that I have to use a user with a specific default schema obfuscates behavior and is counter intuitive and potentially problematic.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to specify the schema name in Replication package, however, we will consider the possibility to add this feature. We will inform you about the results as soon as any are available.

Mariia:

Please do consider such. Functionality such as this is very important in an enterprise-class tool.
