Hello,

While I am successfully able to connect to the SQL Server, I am getting the following error -

Login failed for user 'skyvia'. A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)

The user works well when connected from management studio.

Please find the error screenshot, attached.

Your SQL Server must allow connections for Skyvia. Skyvia connects to your SQL Server from the IP 40.118.246.204. For more information please refer to:

The IP is whitelisted and the SQL Server allows the connections.

The login process is rejecting the user and that may happen if the Skyvia SQL Server native client version is different than what I have installed.

Could you please tell me the version Skyvia uses? Also, could there be any other reasons (the timeout and max number of users are already set to infinite)

Skyvia uses standard ADO.NET client (System.Data.SqlClient), so it doesn't matter which client version is used on your side. If your SQL Server is configured in a proper way, you should be able to work with the SQL Server connections without problems. We still recommend you to check that you are using correct credentials (user/password) and that you gave all required permissions for the SQL Server user with which you are trying to connect to your database from Skyvia.
