Sync and Replication Unreliable

We've reported multiple instances where the Sync and Replication appear unreliable (i.e., some records never sync or are copied from our Salesforce package).

The advice given has been to make the package sync schedule occur less often. However, we're finding this occurs even on packages that run only once per day (and the one time it runs is middle of the night). In this case, missing records only were filled in when we cloned the package and re-ran it altogether.

That's not a permanent solution. What solutions can you provide for helping us get a more reliable sync?

Hi Marcus,

Thank you for submitting a ticket with us.

Let us know if all the deleted records are not synced or only some of them and if "Include Deleted" option is enabled in the connection details.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

We're seeing a few issues:

  • Records that are deleted are not being sync'd.
  • Records that are modified are not being updated.
  • Records that are added are not being inserted.

In a recent example, we duplicated an existing replication package and ran it fresh. There were 122 new records that were missing and were filled in by doing this. And 133 records that had not been updated that were updated by this new package.

This replication package was running once per day.

Dear Marcus,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Let us know the replication package ID in question. Also, is "Include Deleted" option enabled in your Salesforce connection details in Skyvia?

We are looking forward to hearing from you.
