Hi. 

 

I have extracted a csv file for failing inserts into salesforce. However , I'm receiving an errror saying "The data was truncated.   Column name: 'Other description'  

Do you perhaps know what's causing this and how I can resolve it ?

The error "The data was truncated. Column name: 'Other description'" occurs when the length of the field (in your case, Incident_Category_Other_Description__c) is less than the data being imported from the CSV file.

 

Please check the length of your custom fields in Salesforce and notify us about the results.
