Hello Team,

While creating a package we,

We have this option to append the timestamp to the file name. However even after checking this option I was not able to see the timestamp on the file name after exporting. Can you please guide me through how we can achieve this, if at all I'm missing any steps.

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting our Skyvia support team.

As we can see you have specified the custom filename in the package task.

Please note that if you specify a custom target CSV file name in an export task, it will not be followed by the timestamp regardless of this checkbox.
You can remove the custom name from the task, and in this case the export file will have the default name and the timestamp appended.
More details are available here https://docs.skyvia.com/data-integration/export/export-package.html

Hello Olena,

I have tried exporting the report without giving the file name on export. However, it is taking the file name as the object name that is selected and not the actual report name and appending the time stamp to it which is not as expected.

Also, tried using the advanced oprtion while creating the task where I gave the report ID instaed of applying the fileters, but in here I'm not able to save the task without giveing the target report name and by giving the target name the time stamp is not being appended.

Need to be achieved: After the exporting the actual name of the report along with time stamp should be the report name.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

It is correct.
The reports export is available in the Advanced mode, where the custom file name is required and the timestamp is not applied.
In the Simple mode, the timestamp could be applied, but only with the default file name.
However, this is the expected behavior, as described in the documentation https://docs.skyvia.com/data-integration/export/export-package.html

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
