Hi - I'm using the Redshift connector and using the exact same credentials as I would to say log in with Aginity but I get an error, see screenshot below. Note that I don't use AWS Access Key ID, AWS Secret Key or AWS Security Token with Aginity.

My guess is that this is because we have whitelisted IPs that only can connect to our instance of Redshift, since yours is a web-based tool, it shows the connection as coming from a different IP. If you agree that may be the case, can you please share the IPs I need to whitelist for Skyvia?

Also, if I'm using the Query tool and conducting ad-hoc analysis with multiple SQL statements, do you know if the connection stays open between executions? What I mean by that is if I execute the 2 SQL statements below separately, will the second query return results or an error? This works fine in Aginity after configuring the connections settings appropriately btw.

SELECT *

INTO TEMP TABLE test_table

FROM db_name.table_name

;

SELECT *

FROM test_table

;

Thanks!

Skyvia uses the following static IP address to access your server - 40.118.246.204. You should whitelist it.

The second query will return the result. Each query is executed within its own connection. The connection remains open until the tab is opened and data is extracted.
