When doing a synch from our SQL Datawarehouse to Salesforce we get thousands of errors that look like this.

"Unable to obtain exclusive access to this record...."

Have you seen this before?

unable to obtain exclusive access to this record or 96 records: 0010o00002SNB5pAAH,0010o00002SNBEzAAP,0010o00002SNBAFAA5,0010o00002SNB2PAAX,0010o00002SNB0sAAH,0010o00002SNB5NAAX,0010o00002SNBC2AAP,0010o00002SNBF9AAP,0010o00002SNBGOAA5,0010o00002SNB1cAAH, ... (86 more)

Hello Peter,

Thank you for submitting a ticket with us.

The error appeared from Salesforce side. We found a thread where some Salesforce customers claim it happens if a record is locked.

You can try to use the following workaround: reduce the batch size of the data loaded to Salesforce. This can be done in the Advanced parameters of your Salesforce connection settings. You need to uncheck "Use Bulk API" option.

Skyvia will then move to SOAP API for data loading to Salesforce. This will decrease performance but may help to avoid such errors.

Also, check that Opportunity and OpportunityLineItem tables (or related tables) do not have triggers for updating themselves.

Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us back.
