Skyvia Integration posted this 22 January 2018

We have a couple of jobs that point to the same SFTP location for exports. On one job, someone changed it from the SFTP to MyPC for testing, but when we try to change it back to SFTP we get the following message:

Error getting objects! No such file

However, the other job using this connection is still working fine, connecting to the SFTP as expected, and uploading the data. I have tried building a new connection to the same SFTP location, but continue to get the same error. I used the credentials for the SFTP connection with the Filezilla FTP client and connect to the SFTP server fine and browse the directories, so the issue seems to be with Skyvia. Please advise.

Thank you,

Jeff

Marlia, we are half-way there. I can select the SFTP connection and it doesn't error, however when I click on the Folder drop-down there is nothing for me to select. The options are sftp or refresh, but it does not list the directories that are actually on the SFTP site. Please advise.

folder selection

Thank you,

Jeff

Usually, such a behaviour occurs in case of SFTP permission issues. We recommend you to check the permissions on the folders where necessary files are located, i.e. probably, your SFTP user doesn't have permissions to access folders with files.

Please also perform the steps we proposed you in another thread some time ago:

1) Create any other folder with the proper access rights, add file to this folder and try your scenario again.

2) Please also try your scenario in case if your file is available in the root.

Looking forward to your reply.

Since this was still not working, I made a new connection with the same credentials, cloned the integration, tried to map, and it is finding the folder now. I went back to the original connection and it still does not find the folder. My guess is that the code change did not affect the existing connection. For now, everything seems to be running correctly. I will change all of the integrations using this SFTP location to the new connection.

Thank you,

Jeff

So it looks like I spoke too soon. even though the new connection is able to see the directory and I can choose the folder, the job is failing to create the file. I switched the integration back to MyPC, the file is generating, and I can still upload using an FTP client (Filezilla) with the same credentials I am using in the SFTP connection for Skyvia. It seems there is still something wrong in Skyvia that is not allowing the file to write. Please advise.

Thank you,

Jeff

Thank you for your response.

Most likely, the issue you are encountering now is related to the SFTP server being used. In order to detect the reason of your current issue, we need to be able to test your SFTP connection. Thus, we would be grateful, if you can provide us with some trial account, so that we are able to reproduce the issue and fix it.

Thank you for your understanding and participation.
