I am trying to update a single column in a SQL Server database from HubSpot contacts.  When I Add Task with the Hubspot as Source and SQL Server as Target the result is a lot of columns I don't want to touch on the SQL Server table.  How do I configure my task so I only use the columns I need - the identity on the SQL server and the column being updated?

Only the fields that are mapped will be updated. You can change the mapping in the Task Editor as you want according to your scenario.

Please note, UPDATE operations are performed based on the ID/primary key field or lookup mapping. So, the ID is required for this operation. If you do not have ID values, you can perform UPDATE even without knowing the ID values. For this, you can use Lookup Mapping for ID/PK columns and get the IDs or PK values from the target object itself by some other field that uniquely identifies a record.

splitting the task into 2 did the trick - Export from HubSpot then Import into SQL Server

I scheduled the Export at least one hour after the nightly backup - and the Import 50 minutes later
